West HQ’s Finish Line Festival will take place on March 31st 2019 in collaboration with NAB’s RunWest event to celebrate Western Sydney. As the first of many, this event will be the perfect opportunity to come out with friends and family to have a bit of fun for the day. You don’t have to be a participant of RunWest to be part of West HQ’s Finish Line Festival- everyone’s welcome! The festival will encompass everything from an abundance of food, outdoor music performances, and family-friendly entertainment.
Live Music
Cool down and catch amazing live performances from some amazingly talented artists. On the day of the Festival, you’ll be able to see some incredible musicians like Tori Darke, David Agius, Ben Bennett, and many more serenade you as you engage in our other activities/entertainment. From country to pop, the performers we’ve got lined up for you will have you swaying and moving to the rhythm.
Food Trucks
Bring along family and friends and discover a hand-picked selection of some of Sydney’s most sought-after food and dessert trucks in one convenient location. 10 of Sydney’s #1 food trucks like Chur, Duo Duo Ice Cream, and Burnt Ends BBQ will be at West HQ’s Finish Line Festival for you to sample from!
Free Expo
The NAB RunWest Expo will be held at West HQ on Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30 with free admission to all participants and the general public.
This inspiring community event will feature a host of exciting exhibitions from our partners, as well as the opportunity to win fantastic prizes and more. This is also the location of bib number pick up.
Meet the Stars
Heroes from rugby league, rugby union, AFL, cricket, football and netball will take part in the festivities of the RunWest Finish Line Festival.
You will have the chance to meet and play games with your favourite legends from clubs like the Western Sydney Wanderers, Sydney Thunder, Greater Western Sydney Giants (AFL, AFLW and netball), Two Blues as well as NSW Rugby League stars
Recovery Pool (SGAC)
Free entry on the day! On the day of the Festival, SGAC plan to open its doors to the public. So after a good run, you’ll be able to have a splash with the kids or go for a solo cool down lap in the pool! Remember: entry is on a first come, first served basis so quickly make your way down there to not miss out on a good swim.
Kids’ Space
We’ll keep the kids distracted while you run and indulge in all the other entertainment we have prepared! Your children will love our Kids’ Space as they play with inflatables, get their favourite characters painted on their face and meet a few animals from the new Sydney Zoo.
Gymnastics
Come down to SGAC to stretch out those leg muscles or bring the kids along for a good tumble. It’ll be free entry on the day so there’s no need to be a member of West HQ beforehand!
RedBull
There will be plenty of entertainment to keep the whole family occupied. Why not come and try our feature Red Bull activation which pits mate against mate in the ultimate tyre changing challenge. Stay tuned for other exciting challenges to be announced shortly
