Important updates for our customers

*Update 11 January 2021*

Effective 3 January, you are required to wear a face mask in certain indoor settings, as advised by NSW government. As such, we want to provide clarity on when you need to wear a face mask when visiting West HQ.


  • When using gaming/betting facilities in the indoor gaming area
  • When using amenities other than gaming machines in the indoor gaming area, such as bars


  • When visiting our food and beverage outlets at Eat St and Eat St Bar
  • When transiting through the indoor gaming area
  • When entering West HQ
  • When in the outdoor gaming area

We recognise you may choose to wear masks when visiting any of the non-gaming related areas of our venue. Our staff will be wearing masks throughout the venue (excluding those with medical exemptions).

If you do not have a mask, please speak with our friendly Customer Service team who will be able to supply you with one.

West HQ has implemented a number of initiatives to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit:

  • All customers, including members, must check-in via the Service NSW app or the Online Concierge form (our friendly customer service staff can assist if you require to use the form).
  • Continued on-site cleaning and sanitisation
  • Hand sanitiser stations throughout the Club
  • Social distancing measures
  • Application of one person per 4m² rule within the venue (effective 12:01 am Monday 21 December 2020.)


Conditions of Entry

If you are feeling unwell or have been in the company of anyone who has been unwell or positively tested for COVID-19 we respectfully request you do not enter.

Everyone entering West HQ is required to sign in using the Service NSW QR code, as advised by the NSW government. We recommend downloading the Service NSW app prior to your next visit.

Upon entering you will need to do the following:

  1.  Hold and hover your smartphone camera over the QR code, which can be found on signage at the Main Entrance.
  2. Click the link that pops up on your screen and follow the prompts until you are checked in with the Service NSW app.
  3. Show your phone confirmation to one of the friendly Customer Service staff.
  4. Members will still need to show their Member card and guests will still need to sign in as per the Registered Clubs Act.
  5. Don’t forget to check-out when you leave, which you can do from within the app

If you require help or do not have a smartphone, our friendly Customer Service staff will assist you to check-in.
