Key Details for Work Placement and Internships at West HQ:

  1. Eligibility: Work placement and internship requests are considered for individuals who are currently enrolled in a relevant course, where such placements are a mandatory requirement.
  2. Response Time: Due to the high volume of requests, we kindly ask for your patience. Please allow up to 2 weeks for us to respond to your application.
  3. Processing Time: Organizing work placements and internships can be a thorough process, taking approximately 4-6 weeks to arrange. We encourage you to plan ahead and ensure you provide sufficient time for your request to be processed.

Prerequisites for Work Placement and Internships:

  • Insurance Documentation: To be eligible, students must provide a valid copy of their institute’s insurance documentation.
  • RSA Competency Card: Students applying for positions in front-of-house areas within Food and Beverage, Gaming, Customer Service Club, Novotel, Events, or the Sydney Coliseum Theatre must possess a valid RSA Competency Card if they are over 18 years of age.
